At this year's EU RLS Study Group (EURLSSG) Annual Meeting, EARLS member Sören Berg (of RLS Förbundet) spoke on developed cooperation between researchers and patients, a mutual challenge, with a focus on three wishes.
The first wish of patients is to increase the impact of existing knowledge, which should also be incorporated into a pan-European RLS guideline.
The second wish is to increase the usefulness of existing knowledge and to provide starting points for new research. A "traffic light" assessment of treatments that have been discussed but not finally evaluated could be helpful.
And, last but not least, there is a wish for more research on RLS in children.
